Who We Are

We are the Field Services Engineers team for SIL Africa ICT Services of SIL Global. We are experts in solar systems design, electrical consulting, and vendor verification.

SIL Africa Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services provides crucial IT infrastructure  to more than 1,600 community-based Bible translation initiatives across Africa. We work with IT technicians in more than forty local organizations in Africa to ensure translation teams have needed IT infrastructure for the work.

What We Do

We serve the power and communication needs of SIL, who works alongside language communities as they discover how to harness the power of their own language. We also aim to serve our global strategic partners in Bible translation, specifically those who live in remote locations where electric power and communications are unavailable or unreliable. For as much as we are able, we provide them with learning, products, and support for power and communications systems.
