Victron Quattro Inverters

Quattro Inverters

The Quattro inverters can operate on a variety of DC Voltages from 12 Volt, 24 Volt and 48 Volt battery systems. They can also be ordered for either 120 V AC or 230 V AC output.  Power output ranges from as low as 3 kVA to 15 kVA. The advantage of using the Quattro is that is accommodates two inputs and will automatically connect with the active source of power.  Typically this is either Grid power and a Generator, or it could be two generators.

The Quattro line of inverter/chargers work ideally with most generators providing the AutoStart signal. These inverters can be installed in parallel or as three phase configurations. If this is desired, then all inverters need to have been purchased within the same year of each other and have the same firmware installed. It does require the use of the MK3-USB dongle along with VictronConnect or VEConfig software to program.

This Inverter does not come with an outlet receptacle or power cord, it will require that your hard wire both the inverter input through a circuit breaker and output to a power strip or distribution panel  for multiple loads.  Please read the specific Inverters Installation manual to correctly size the circuit breaker for each inverter. Because of the vast selection of MultiPlus & Quattro Inverter/chargers available, it would be best to consult with our team to determine the best model for your application.  When selecting a MultiPlus or Quattro you will need to determine your battery chemistry (AGM or LFP); battery bank voltage (12, 24 or 48 Volt); Input grid power (120/60Hz, 230/50Hz) and if remote monitoring is desired.  The outputs of these inverters can either feed a single phase distribution panel or be hard wired to a power strip.
