The
MultiPlus inverters are both Inverters & Chargers which are either 120V or 230V models with DC Voltage of
12 Volt, 24 Volt or 48 Volt systems. Power output ranges from as low as
500 VA to 15000 VA. These inverters act as a line interactive UPS – passing grid power through the inverter to the loads when grid power is available. When grid power is lost, they begin inverting, switching time is typically less than 20 msec.
Configuring these inverters may require the use of the
MK3-USB dongle along with
VictronConnect or
VEConfig software.
These Inverters do not come with an outlet receptacle or power cord, it will require that you hard wire both the inverter input through a circuit breaker and output to a power strip or distribution panel for multiple loads. Please read the specific Inverters Installation manual to correctly size the circuit breaker, DC disconnect and AC/DC conductors for each inverter.
Because of the vast selection available, it would be best to consult with our team to determine the best model for your application. When selecting a MultiPlus or MultiPlus-II you will need to determine your battery chemistry (AGM or LFP); battery bank voltage (12, 24 or 48 Volt); Input grid power (120/60Hz, 230/50Hz) and if remote monitoring is desired. The outputs of these inverters can either feed a single phase distribution panel or be hard wired to a power strip.Victron has a lot of dealers worldwide, you may be able to purchase Victron equipment locally.
