The complete kit for Bible translators working off-grid in remote areas.   “One stop shopping” provides the following items in one complete package:

  • Laptop computer (Low power, 14 inch display)
  • Solar power pack  (Half-Pint, 72 Watt-hour)
  • Solar panels 4 x 15 w   (60 Watts total)
  • Backpack
  • Car charger with USB-C and USB-A PD ports
  • Extension cable USB-C, 6 inch
  • Power Cable, 33 feet, from solar panel to power pack
  • 3-way splitter for cigarette lighter sockets
  • Pendant light, 12 volt, 30 foot cord
  • Desk lamp, 12 volt

For translators needing more power (i.e. running projectors, printers, BGAN, fans, lights, etc.) upgrade to the Villager III power pack with 216 Watt-hour capacity and a 100 Watt solar panel.  Total kit price is $1235.

This package is recommended specifically for those doing primary Bible translation.  A smaller version  is available for those doing “Review” of translations with Paratext-lite.  (Package includes a 10″ tablet computer, 30 Watt solar panel, for $ 636 for total of 14 items.)
