Description
Midnite Solar DC breakers, useful for PV arrays or small-to-medium battery banks. Rated 150V DC at amperages from 5A to 100A. DC interrupt current rating 10,000 amps. Can also be used in 120V AC circuits.
These attach with two 6-32 screws to the faceplate of the box, with 1/4 inch studs for attaching wires with eye terminals on the back of the breaker. Useful for wire sizes up to about 2 AWG if your box can fit them. See MNEDCQUAD for a suitable small box. We also stock screw-on eye terminals if you can’t crimp terminals on your wires. These are a step up from automotive fuses and breakers. The can handle higher voltages and interrupt much higher currents.
