Description
Measures Amps, volts, Ohms, continuity and diode check. Has a hold feature. A great meter for working on AC and DC power systems. Small and light, about 8″ long. A favorite in our shop.
Most inexpensive clamp meters work on AC only; but this small meter will accurately measure DC current also.
Not-so-good quirks:
- The Hz measurement is unreliable, often doesn’t work at all.
- It’s possible to insert the 9V battery backwards, possibly ruining the meter — Be careful!
- The battery compartment uses a not so common #1 size Phillips head screw.
