Description

The Victron SmartShunt is a Bluetooth enabled battery monitor

The SmartShunt battery monitor connects to the negative terminal of your battery and monitors battery voltage, amperage in and out, and a calculated battery state of charge (%). It works with any battery setup from 12V to 48V (70V is the upper limit) and you don’t need to have a Victron charge controller or inverter to use it.

The SmartShunt has no built-in display; your phone acts as the display and control panel. The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the free VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more.

Easy Remote Monitoring

If you want cloud based monitoring from anywhere in the world, add a VE.Direct cable and a Victron Cerbo GX device. The Cerbo GX is a network device that stores your data and uploads it to Victron’s cloud based servers when an internet connection is available. The data uploaded is minimal and it works well over intermittent or expensive internet connections. Victron’s “VRM” cloud service is free with the purchase of the Cerbo GX and there are no monthly charges.

Several models are available for 500A – 2000A, starting at about $130, some are weatherproof.
