Description
What this product does: This solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy which can be stored in a power bank (battery) for use in powering small electrical devices.
Recommended use(s): This panel matches well with the Villager-III Solar Power Bank, the Solar Power Hub 120 V AC and the Solar Power Hub 300 W, all sold separately.
Advantages of this product: These are high-efficiency panels – small in size for the number of watts produced – plus they are very thin, lightweight and rugged. The solar cells are embedded in 2-mm thick plastic which allows the panels to flex a bit, though they cannot be rolled or folded. Each panel has six grommets for mounting. We recommend you leave an air gap behind the panels for cooling, which will increase the power output a bit.
Additional notes: You will need a charge controller to prevent this solar panel from overcharging your batteries. You may need an extension/adapter cable to hook to your charge controller.
