The power.sil.org website and store is run by SIL GTIS Power Systems group based in Waxhaw, North Carolina, USA. on the JAARS campus.
We provide personalized technical support to members of SIL and partners working in field locations worldwide where electric power is unavailable or unreliable. A printable pdf flyer outlining our services is available here.. Our Blog and Self-Help sections have various posts which we hope will help and educate you, and as part of our tech support, we have a “store” section on this website where we recommend high quality equipment at affordable prices. We can purchase for you any electrical item you need, including items not shown in our “store,” and ship them to most any location in the world. Unfortunately we do not have the manpower to serve the general public.
Members can see pricing information and place order requests in our store after they’ve logged in. Contact us at power_systems@sil.org if you have trouble logging in.
